The First Lady of Venezuela, Fabiana Rosales, commemorated Youth Day together with youth leaders, community and student leaders, and members of civil society.

Ms. Rosales assured that it was a day where it was ratified in the struggle for freedom and democracy of Venezuelan families.
“We met near where Robert Redman was murdered, a young man whose life was taken for fighting for our country,” she said through her Twitter account.
Mrs. Rosales de Guaidó also honored the memory of Bassil Da Costa, Geraldine Moreno and all the young people from whom the Maduro dictatorship “took their lives because they wanted a free country.”
The First Lady reiterated that the struggle continues, mobilized, together with all Venezuelans until free and verifiable elections are achieved.
“So that the suffering of households due to the complex humanitarian emergency resulting from the regime ends once and for all,” she said.
Last Saturday, within the framework of Youth Day, the President in Charge of Venezuela Juan Guaidó and deputies of the legitimate National Assembly together with civil society and political leaders met in the Plaza Bolívar de Chacao on February 12th.
“This Youth Day has found us in the streets again. Hope knows no fear. To the young Venezuelans and to the country we say: here we are, we have not forgotten you. Today we not only commemorate the Battle of ‘La Victoria’ of 1814, but now we say: we are not going to give up and we will continue forward until we see our country free,” affirmed the national leader.
